But the biggest step of all may end up taking place closer to Southampton, England than the Town of Southampton. Sir Paul and his fiancée posted banns—an official notice that they plan to wed—at Westminster Register Office near central London, the same registry office where he and his first wife, Linda. Whispers are that they will marry in October—and that it will be a small affair.
