Southampton’s Ed Burns starts filming “40,” a new comedy for H.B.O., in New York this fall. The series, about four lifelong friends struggling to keep it together as they approach middle age in a shaky economy, also stars Adrian Pasdar, Michael Imperioli and Michael Rapaport.
