North Haven’s Jimmy Buffett was honored at the Child Mind Institute’s annual gala in New York City last Thursday. Water Mill’s Matt Lauer introduced the singer’s surprise performance. The event raised more than $5 million for the organization, which strives to provide mental health care to children around the world.
Living on the OBX of NC we have seen and been blessed by Jimmy Buffett’s generosity, especially after Hurricane Isabel. Many people do not realize how hard he works and how much he helps charites and people in need all over the world. He has the best employees and friends and everyone of them promote the Live.
