Why can’t politicians worry about things that matter and leave this kind of thing alone? It’s art, it’s not hurting anyone.

The legs stood happily on Larry Rivers residential street in Southampton Village for years. Why can’t Sag harbor village just get over it and issue a variance if needed. In case the village board hasn’t noticed there are far worse things they should be spending their time and our tax dollars on – ie- Bulova and the eye-sore condos where Rocco’s once stood. The legs are fun and I was so happy when they were erected in Sag Harbor. They make me smile each time I pass them. As a tax-payer and long-time resident of Sag Harbor; I’m appalled by the ongoing campaign by the Village to get them removed.
