If eating better, or merely considering a healthier diet, is on your list of New Year’s resolutions, put down the bacon cheeseburger and head over to Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton, where the Wellness Foundation is presenting a free screening of the documentary Forks Over Knives today, January 9, at 3 p.m.
As the film’s official site says, Forks Over Knives “examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.”
