Last night I went out to Namos Estiatorio in Southampton after having a late night dinner at a friend’s house in Water Mill. Namos is where Nello’s used to be in Southampton, and is run by one of the guys from Trata Restaurant in Water Mill. I’m a big fan of Trata, so I’ve been meaning to check this place out.
I got there around 11 p.m., and it was a sort of lounge/nightclub scene. One thing I noticed was that there were a lot of tall model-type women running around this place. Not that it’s strange to see pretty women out in the Hamptons, but there was a sense of runway models about a lot of the ladies there.
Then I was introduced to Toni Russo of Boutique Models, and learned that the women were very much in fact models, and Toni has a model management business.
“Well, you’re a genius,” I said.
Gotta love summer in the Hamptons.

*Cough*Crappy promotional post*Cough*
When will you ever write something worth reading…
This isn’t promotional. You honestly don’t think it’s weird/cool/interesting that there is business that brings models to restaurants and nightclubs in the Hamptons?
I agree with Mary.
Businesses have been doing that for years.
This is just a marketing tool.
Write something of substance and I’ll be impressed.
