The Best Advice My Dad Has Told Me
It’s Fathers Day, so today is the day I must get good old Dad a card and have dinner with him. But I thought I’d share with my readers some advice that my Dad passed on to me over the years.
Dad Wisdom: When choosing what you want to do for a profession in life, choose something that you love to do and the money will follow you there.
Dad Wisdom: Try to eat foods that are complicated so that your body works by digesting it. This way you don’t have to work it off.
Dad Wisdom: Try to do the best you can in life.
Dad Wisdom: Growing old is inevitable; growing up is optional.
Dad Wisdom: Love is grand. Divorce costs lots of grands.
Dad Wisdom: Get a dog. Don’t think about it. Just get it.
Dad Wisdom: Sometimes you have to face the music, but you’ll get through it, just keep pushing on.
Happy Father’s Day to all of those great dads out there.
