Weather.com and nearly every media outlet in America right now keeps advising me to keep a close eye on Sandy all week, as it approaches the Northeast and threatens to become a perfect storm.
I was never much of a fan of keeping a close eye on Irene last year, but I have no problem keeping watch on Sandy. I’ll be here, standing guard.

Now THATS a Sandy we can all enjoy. And of course Sandy the dog from Annie – I’d watch over her anytime too.
To each of our fellow citiots and bitter locals alike, may God have mercy on us all, with the hope that this hurricane comes and goes quickly, with no lose of life, either in the Hamptons or NYC.
Here in the city, those of us living at the oceans’ edge are full on afraid. Hope we still have a standing intact house to go in the Hamptons, if our house here sustains damage.
