Christopher Fischer, who has shops in East Hampton and Southampton, offered his Soho boutique for the “Over 40 Females Shop & Network” event last Thursday, February 21. Former editor and TV spokeswoman for More magazine Judy Goss hosted the event. Laura W. Campbell, founder of D Spot—for women thinking about or going through divorce—was a guest speaker. She said that her own post-divorce life is “extraordinary, but only because I make it that way.”
Circulating among guests, the designer’s wife Joni Fischer talked about the Wooster Street loft’s history as a spot for artists, including John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who did performance art there.
Among the fabulous clothes and cashmere items on view at the event was unique men’s tee shirt rocking a piano-pounding tough-guy Chihuahua, shown below!

I am trying in vain to respond to a “Help Wanted” advertisement in this week’s issue of “Dan’s Papers”. It is the first job listed under “General”, and begins with the word, “Film”.
