San Genarro Feast of the Hamptons—Bring your appetite to Hampton Bays for the first-ever San Gennaro Feast on the East End. Food, classic car show, carnival rides, live music, a parade—and did we mention food?—will make it a celebration to remember! Good Ground Road, Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Winged Migration at South Fork Natural History Museum—The Oscar-nominated nature film, shot over three years and on seven continents, comes to the Hamptons and takes you on the incredible journey that is bird migrations around the world.
SCC Rising Stars Piano Series: Michael Brown—Michael Brown, 2010 New York Concert Artists Guild Winner, opens the series with performances of Beethoven: Polonaise in C Major, Op.89 Sonata in F Major, Op.54 Debussy: 3 Etudes from book II Albeniz: Evocacion, El Puerto Chopin: Polonaise in A-flat Op.53 “Eroica” Levitas Center for the Arts, Southampton Saturday, October 1, 7 p.m.
Sag Harbor American Music Festival— Sag Harbor’s own world-renowned jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker and his all-star East End band join Monica Mancini at Bay Street Theater for a concert honoring her father, composer Henry Mancini—just one of the many can’t-miss events at this inaugural year of the music fest.
