Brahmin is a family-owned handbag company that was the dream of Joan and Bill Martin who started the company in 1982. The name Brahmin was used in Boston in the 1800′s to describe a cultured person from an established upper class family, and was chosen by the Martin family because they aspired to create a handbag to meet the discerning taste of a Brahmin.
The company is committed to designing and creating handbags that define timelss style and we have to say, the produce classically beautiful, functional handbags that are of the highest quality for today’s woman.
