Unforgettable Images of Sandy on the East End

What’s been the most unforgettable part of Hurricane Sandy and the superstorm she brought with here to the East End? The wild winds or the fearsome flooding? People watching the action from the beach? Daredevils surfing out on the storm-driven waves or those kayaking through the streets? Maybe it was just that image on TV of Sandy swirling her way north.

We’ve seen our share of images that will stick in our minds for a long time to come, and as with the Hurricane of 1938, many of these images will become part of history in the Hamptons and on the North Fork.

I just drove around Sag Harbor and a bit of Noyack, taking several pictures. Have half-submerged cars in Sag H’s parking lot, sand-packed windmill, and a large tree on Brick Kiln hanging upside down from the power lines. How do i send them to you to possibly share with other readers?
