Since he's split with Katie Lee Joel, Billy Joel has decided to sell his two adjacent properties in Sagaponack. In 2004 Joel bought the larger, 4-bedroom house as a gift for his young wife, whom he separated from in June after five years of marriage. This home once belonged to the late Jaws star, Roy Scheider. Joel purchased the adjacent property, a bungalow, in 2007. Corcoran Real estate agent Biana Stephanian said the larger home is selling for $22.5 million, while the smaller is selling for $12.5 million.

Guild Hall's Art of Fashion event drew the industry's elite last week, including Hamptons residents Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Reed Krakoff, Elie Tahari, Betsey Johnson and Nicole Miller. The exhibit features artwork reflecting the designers' styles and runs through October 12.

Appearing on the "Late Show with David Letterman" last week, East Hampton's Renee Zellweger chatted about the great guacamole at The Blue Parrot, which she co-owns with Jon Bon Jovi and Ron Perelman.

On August 19, Don Hewitt, CBS executive and creator of "60 Minutes," passed away at his Mecox home. He was 86.

East Hampton's Vered Gallery sold its Michael Jackson portrait created by Andy Warhol in 1984. The piece reportedly sold at auction to an anonymous bidder "for millions."

Sharon, Lauren and Ashley Bush sponsored a concert at Southampton Cultural Center's Levitas Center for the Arts benefiting the FEED project. Laughing Pizza provided entertainment and Dylan's Candy Bar contributed free candy.

Hundreds gathered in Montauk last Friday to honor skateboarding legend Andy Kessler, who passed away earlier this month due to an allergic reaction to a wasp sting. Kessler designed skate parks in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Montauk.

First Lady of New York Michelle Paterson and award-winning actress Lynn Whitfield were among 300 guests who attended the 6th Annual On Our Toes in the Hamptons, featuring Ronald K. Brown's acclaimed Evidence, A Dance Company, at the hilltop Water Mill home of Bernard and Joyce Jackson. Chair Alicia Bythewood and husband Dan welcomed friends and fans, including Jean and Martin Shafiroff, Mira and Brian Mullins, Christian Dior president Stephane Barraque, Andrea Hoffman, Caroline Lieberman, Dr. Ancy Verdier and Gail Monroe Perry.

Beth Ostrosky Stern, Donna Karan's daughter, Gabby, and Alexa Ray Joel were among 45 guests who enjoyed a day of fine shopping and dining at a private luncheon at the Bellhaus boutique in Wainscott. The event benefited Turnaround For Children, a nonprofit organization that supports New York City public schools.
