Brandon Ress is a trained Chef with a degree from The Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts.
Brandon Specializes in Southern Style BBQ and has attended several grilling and BBQ courses to help enhance his natural skills for this style of cooking. Courses include CIA in Hyde Park, NY as well as The Jack’s Old South taught by the 3 time BBQ World Champion Myron Mixon.
One of Brandon’s prized tools used to produce the authentic Southern BBQ is a Smoker Custom built by David Klose in Houston Texas. David Klose is the 2004 BBQ World Champion and holds several world records for his custom pits.
With nearly 10 years of experience in BBQ, Brandon enjoys roasting whole Hog and making his own sausage links.
Brandon has won awards for his chili and salsa as well as the 2008 Fiery Foods Challenge with his dry seasoning rub.
