Born in England, Chris Mead, started English Country Antiques 20 years ago with his brother who would travel around England collecting wonderful assortments of antiques and accessories and shipping them to the United States. Originally an author and photographer of dozens of life style books on decorating, gardening and cooking, Chris currently has stores in Bridgehampton, NY and Southampton, NY. His staff of 15 people decorates the Hamptons and New York City and ships furniture to homeowners and renowned interior designers around the country.
