Servicing the east end since 2005, Sensible Sitters offers an unparalleled convenience for families.  From the sourcing, vetting & background checking of the sitter to the scheduling & billing, Sensible Sitters takes care of every step of the babysitting process.  Sensible Sitters provides on-call babysitters for as little as a 3 hour shift as well as standing part time needs, travel positions, and summer positions.  All babysitters are either working toward a college degree or have graduated college, many with a concentration in nursing or early education. All sitters referred by Sensible Sitters are fully background checked & CPR-trained or certified as well as introduced to families by resume with childcare credentials.  Special attention is given to ensure that appropriate babysitters are matched to families taking into consideration proximity, personality, experience with the children’s’ ages & any special needs.  We recommend that families utilize 1-3 sitters during their initial sitting sessions so as to have a few familiar faces once they join the service.  Families receive an email invoice at weeks end, at which point their credit card on file is used to pay their bill.  It is a really seamless experience!
