Spring & Summer Activities

Founded in the early 1980’s, Spring & Summer Activities moved to its present location in 1986. This full-service pool company does new pool design and construction, renovations, liner changes, service, repairs and offers a fully-stocked retail store for pool and beach supplies.

According to owner Sheryl Heather, “We’re extremely proud that most of our new business is through referrals from happy customers. We take pride in our work and it shows in our quality, our professionalism, and our courteous staff. We’re still taking care of many of the pools we built back in our early years.”

Those old pools are often treated to face lifts including new liners or steps for vinyl pools, new tile and resurfacing on Gunite pools and upgraded patios or decks. “Even a simple and cost-effective renovation can make your whole yard look brand new,” stated Heather.

The company offers the latest technology to make pool operation more energy-efficient and lower chemical use, with a complete display on site. Along with free water tests, the knowledgeable staff can assist with all aspects of pool care. As a participant in the Town’s “Greener Southampton” program, residents may bring in plastic bags for recycling and receive a discount for using reusable bags.

In addition to serving as Executive Director of the Southampton Business Alliance, Sheryl also sits on the Town’s Sustainability Advisory Committee, the Board of the L.I. Pool & Spa Association and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Hampton Bays.
