Yes I have. Everytime I think of them I miss my niece Yafit. She is the most wonderful young women I have ever known. I have three adult sons in Florida and always wanted a daughter so all my nieces around the world fill in the void. As those cookies they are like Manna from Heaven, Mandel Bread from Rye, Hammantashin from Chabbad in East Hampton. I happen to be an expert on this subject as I have been involved in the Baking Industry since childhood when I worked for Kaufmans Bakery in North Buffalo for our cousin Sam Freidman who fired me and my younger brother Abbe for eating his amazing Cup Cakes and Cookies while loading his trucks. It was worth it.
