Pricey, yes indeed. But you don’t shop at Citarella if you’re looking for two for one’s. They always have a unique selection of fish and what’s in season. Their butcher is the best. You pay top dollar for prime here. Got to love their cheeses from around the world. There’s not a great selection of hot foods for lunch or dinner and the salad bar lacks a few items that I might like, but thee pizza they introduced last year and the nes fresh sushi bar are nothing short of outstanding. I don’t do my staple grocery shopping here but when I need that special something, Citarella hits my hot button most of the time. Oh, and the baked goods are shall we say, not for the dieter. mmm!
