Stewart Strong started Strong’s on Long Island back in 1945 with the Strong & Holland Marina in Lindenhurst. Dave and Dottie established the Mattituck Marina in 1965. Today, Jeff and Re have grown Strong’s to include businesses in Mattituck, Southampton, Port Washington at Brewer Capri Marina West, and Port Jefferson at Danfords Hotel & Marina. The family tradition has continued into its fourth generation, with son Jay leading the Sales Team, and son Ryan overseeing Operations of all locations.

At Strong’s you’ll find new Cobalt, Pursuit, and Regal boats 18-52′ along with a large selection of pre-enjoyed boats. We also represent Absolute Yachts, with models 40′ to 72′ providing Italian luxury and performance.
Strong’s offers full-service marinas on the North and South Forks of Long Island, providing in-water and valet dockage with premium dockage services available. We offer boat rentals and a boat club with exclusive advantages for members. From our Mattituck and Southampton marinas, boaters can easily access the Peconic Bay, with quick access to the ocean via the Shinnecock Canal.
We provide “super service” with a full range of repair and maintenance services, including winterizing and storage, both at our marinas and via dockside service to all of Long Island.
We love helping boaters enjoy their time on the water to its fullest! Strong’s hosts events throughout the season, including our memorable annual Rendezvous, bringing families together as we cruise to new locations each summer, BBQ’s and raft-ups, and our legendary “Fear Buster” – helping boaters learn to navigate the Shinnecock Locks.
