PATCHOGUE, NY- September 5, 2012 – For the fifth time, the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) and the Patchogue Arts Council (PAC) are pleased to announce the Poet and Singer-songwriter line up for the 5th Patchogue Arts Festival. The Patchogue Arts Festival is an annual free day of art, poetry, and music and will take place this year on Sunday October 21, 2012 beginning at noon.
2012 Patchogue Arts Festival Singer-Songwriters:
Graham from Truth in Transit
Hosted by Christopher Capobianco
2010 Patchogue Arts Festival Poets:

The day starts at noon in the PTA Lobby with a reception for the artists of the PAC Walking Arts Tour. Once you meet the artists, check out a special performance in the lobby by Dancing Classrooms Long Island, then grab a map, head out for a self guided walking tour of visual art displayed all over Patchogue Village. Grab a bite to eat, take a tour at Artspace, check out a local gallery or the free film screening at Plaza Cinema, and then head back to the theatre for a late afternoon concert of original Poetry and Music. The theme for this year’s concert is “Long Island Uncovered” where the musicians and poets will perform one or two of their own works and the work of another Long Island artist.
This event is FREE thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the financial support of the community. Funding, in part, by Suffolk County. For volunteer or sponsorship opportunities, please email Co-Chair Christopher Capobianco, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Jessica McAvoy, JesMcAvoy@yahoo.com.
