Author Talk: Lynne Sanford’s “Starboard at Midnight” at EH Library

Starboard at Midnight is a coming-of-age story. Karl has learned he is dying and is trying to insert the last chapter about his Titanic experience into what will be an unpublished, 185 page memoir upon which Starboard at Midnight is based. This is followed by a flashback to his youth during gang wars in Brooklyn, his career as a nationally ranked tennis player, mining in Mexico, and his involvement with the political climate at the time.
