Music For Montauk, celebrating the 21st anniversary of its concert series, will present ACJW, Alumni of The Academy -a program at Carnegie Hall , The Juilliard School and the Weill Music Institute, on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Montauk School, South Dorset Road, Montauk.
Ensemble ACJW is an inspirational collection of outstanding young professional musicians from The Academy that has earned accolades from critics and audiences for the quality of its performances. The group offers its own series at Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School.. Anthony Tommasini described their performance in The New York Times as “one of the most liberating programs I have heard in years.” Four members of ACJW will perform piano quartet works of Mozart, Part, Ravel, Schumann and Hindemith.
Music For Montauk is an organization of Montauk and East Hampton residents which presents an ongoing series of free, high quality music programs for the Montauk community and its neighboring villages.
