On Friday Nov 16th, 7:30pm, Dr. Malcolm Bowman Director of the Storm Surge Research Group at the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences of Stony Brook University will present the next Public Lecture Series topic at Stony Brook – Southampton entitled: “Storm Surge from Superstorm Sandy: Causes and impacts.”
Malcolm is the group leader for the website which provides the 60 hour storm surge forecasts for our region:
