Silvia has studied cooking at the Cordon Bleu, La Vareme and with such individual masters as Giuliano Bugali, Simca Beck, Marcella Hazan and James Beard. Her beautiful book Savoring the Hamptons: Discovering the Food and Wine of Long Island’s East End takes one through the seasons with recipes and stories of our bountiful east end of Long Island through the farms, ingredients and dishes.
