It’s one of the most honest films ever made about Hollywood; maybe a documentary was needed, since fiction somehow always simplifies things. (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun Times 2002)
Legendary Hollywood producer Robert Evans, the man behind such films as Rosemary’s baby, Love story, Chinatown, and The Godfather – tells it like it is, and was in Hollywood. The documentary includes his appeal to the Paramount Board of Directors, a short film that saved the studio in 1970.
