December is an ideal time to investigate how insects spend the winter. Each class of insects has its own unique survival strategy. Some go dormant, into a state called “diapause,” while others remain active. Join Crystal on this exploratory walk, in the field behind the museum, to track the behaviors of some of our over-wintering six-legged species.

Reservations are required for all events. Participants must call (631) 537-9735 for reservations and information about meeting places.
