On this one and one-half-hour hike, you’ll have an opportunity to learn about the value of our native grassland habitat, an area all too rare here on the East End. You’ll walk from the meadow behind SoFo to the grasslands of Poxabogue County Park; two areas where continuing efforts are being made to remove non-native, invasive plants and reestablish healthy populations of natives. Be sure to check out the nature observation blind when you arrive at Poxabogue.

There is no charge for SoFo Members (unless otherwise stated); Non-members $7 per adult; $5 per child
Fees include admission to the museum on the day of the program
