South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo)- Surprise! Surprise! A Birding & Nature Adventure for Children Ages 7 to 9
Sag Harbor, NY.
Program Leader: Barbara Blaisdell, South Fork Natural History Museum, Board Treasurer
“I went out birding” said Mrs. B. (Barbara Blaisdell) “and surprise, surprise, I saw a raccoon sleeping in a tree! I went out birding another day and surprise, surprise, I saw a box turtle freshly dug out from hibernation! You never know what you’re going to see when you go outside to go birding.” While primarily a beginning birder’s walk, this outdoor exploration, with veteran teacher Barbara Blaisdell, will show children that a birding adventure can open up a whole new world of nature that’s full of surprises.
*Reservations are required for all walks, workshops, and programs*
There is no charge for SoFo Members (unless otherwise stated); Non-members $7 per adult; $5 per child
