Vito Gentile is a native New Yorker and has written more than thirty plays, screenplays and teleplays, as well as non-fiction books and numerous articles for periodicals.
During his near fifty-year writing career Vito has honored his love for Christmas with his autobiography, “Little Christmas”- a memory piece about Christmas holidays seen through the eyes of an inquisitive child, his musical “Guests at the Stable” written with the late composer Bradley Hull and his latest work, “Things to Do on a Christmas Eve”, a collection of eight short plays. Add to this his soon to be released, “Fifty Poems about Christmas!”
At present he is working on a musical, “The Ghost on St. Martin’s Street” with the award-winning English composer, John Lunn of recent “Downton Abbey” fame.
