The Farrm in Calverton 1st Annual “Grape Stomp”

To celebrate its maiden harvest of organically grown wine grapes leading to the production its first season of wines, “The Farrm”, a Calverton based certified organic farm will hold its first annual “grape stomp” on Saturday, October 13th and Saturday October 20, 2012. Attendees will visit the farm, take tours, listen to music, enjoy food from the North Fork and, if they wish, pick grapes and participate in the crushing process leading to the production of Farrm red and rose wines. The “Farrm” is owned by organic farmers Rex and Connie Farr and is located on Youngs Avenue.
“The Stomp” is open to public and will take place from 1 to 3 pm. The event is free of charge. There is a nominal charge for refreshments. For further information call 516 410-5825.
