(MONTAUK, NY, Oct. 26, 2012) – The Montauk Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual End of Season Gala at 6:30pm on November 9th at East by Northeast.
Carl Darenberg, a well known member of the Montauk community, will be this year’s honoree. Mr. Darenberg was born and raised in the hamlet. Carl has dedicated much of his time for the betterment of Montauk. He has been a member of a variety of community organizations in Montauk to help improve the quality of life here. He is currently a Director for the Montauk Chamber of Commerce and has served as the Treasurer of the Montauk Chamber of Commerce for the last 9 years. Carl is the owner of Darenberg’s Montauk Marine Basin.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a one hour open bar. Dinner and dancing will start at 7:30 and go until 11pm Live music will be provided by Ocean Dream. A part of the evening will be devoted to honoring Carl. Raffles and 50/50 tickets will be available.
Tickets for the event cost $75 in advance ($85 at the door) and are sold at the Montauk Chamber (cash, check or credit card).
