In an effort to ease the wait at gas pumps, odd/even fuel rationing—based on the last number on license plates—was put in place Friday morning. Drivers with odd plates could buy gas on Friday, while drivers with even plates are permitted to purchase gas the following day. Vanity plates without numbers are considered odd. We agree.
